Temple University

For the purpose of team building among students, a taiko workshop was held at a temple in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo. Students enjoyed playing games in pairs and groups while experiencing the traditional culture of taiko.

Where can the workshop be held?
A

We can hold workshops anywhere in Japan. Our programs are fully mobile and available nationwide.

Do we need to arrange the venue ourselves?
A

You can leave the entire venue arrangement to us, or you’re welcome to book your own venue. If you provide the venue yourself, please ensure it meets the following conditions:

  1. The venue allows taiko drumming (noise level approval).
  2. There is enough space (at least 3㎡ per participant).
  3. Equipment can be transported on carts from the loading entrance to the performance area.

How many participants can join in one workshop?
A

Up to 100 people can participate in a single session. In addition to the main instructor, several assistant instructors will join to ensure large groups can fully enjoy the experience.

Can the workshop duration be adjusted?
A

Yes, we can accommodate your request. Our programs are usually offered in a standard format of 90 minutes, but we can also provide a short version (from 60 minutes) or an extended version (up to 120 minutes), depending on your program needs and goals.

Can the workshop be conducted in English?
A

Yes. We often organize workshops in English for international companies and groups visiting Japan. Interpreter support is provided by our team. If you require other languages, we can arrange interpreters accordingly.

What do participants need to prepare in advance?
A

Please bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated. As long as you are comfortable and able to move freely, you may wear whatever you like. There is no need to bring a change of clothes.
